So here I am in the USA
Loved Canada where we have just done a bus tour with a bunch of other (older)middle-aged types. BC was friendly and similar in humour we found. Loved the nesting swan right in town. NOt so happy with the people feeding the ducks and racoons despite the signs... in that regard Canadians are as bad as Australians. In fact if everyone in Vancouver who feeds the wild (sic) life in Stanley Park stopped, the park would have to put the inhabitants on a withdrawal diet cos half the pop would drop dead, including the junkkies perhaps. Saw one bundled up in bushes and cardboard on a damp evening - so young and so near death. We cry for the starving africans yet we have 'starved' citizens too.
