The Breakfast Club (1/1)
The second drabble in my Superstitious universe, but in Dean's pov this time. After I get the hang writing for SPN, following how many more drabbles, I would like to expand these snippets of life between Sam, Jake, and Dean.
Scarily enough, I already have the background story in my head, taking bits and pieces from season three and four and incorporating them into this AU where I keep YED alive. Le sigh. It would be nice if I could write as fast as I think.

Summary: Jake sits in the front seat of the Impala because Dean doesn't trust Jake to sit behind him.

Jake being here feels wrong, unbelievably intrusive, but Sam fights him on this one.
Dean likes Jake as much as he likes driving in silence. Except the radio’s off, and Dean keeps his mouth shut because he’s worried about Sam.
His eyes shift from the road every once in a while, gaze flickering between a quiet Jake and an unconscious Sam lying in the back. He manages to convince himself the arrangement is temporary until his brother goes missing, but Jake still doesn’t leave, won’t leave even when they find Sam.
And Dean doesn’t know what to think about it.
