(no subject)
jeez! it's been forever! and it's not like i've been doing anything more important or anything... christmas was good. the eve of i got to chill with sophie, which was awesome. i love that side of the family. the day of i finally got to go to church. and father michael was doing this weird singing thing at this really akward part of the mass, and i couldn't help thinking about the RKelly 'trapped in the closet' video/song. I couldn't help laughing in the middle of it. Then we went to Christmas with my mom's side. the only people i really talked to were angela and brian. they're the only two i really talk to from that side. weird. but, all in all it was alright, i guess.
work has been fun. yesterday i thought i was going to die because it was busy as hell and the computers stopped working. but it was okay by the time we left. and jake just made the night better. we went to go see 'memoirs of a geisha', then we walked around the mall laughing at things, realized his parents left us and made a big joke about it.
I've been shopping alot lately. my grandpa on my dad's side is retiring(?) this week. so we need to look nice for his party. so i've bought about 3 skirts and some nice shirts and sweaters and stuff, and new brown boots(!)
My parents went to Iowa today to help my aunt and uncle pack up their stuff because they are moving to texas. so kaite and i have the house to ourselves for... 2 days. and i haven't done anything yet. i always say i'd have a party and such, but i know i wouldn't. i would steal beer and drink it somewhere else maybe.... but i'd never let people drink in my house.
well, off to wait until our poker game starts.... jeez, i feel like i've been waiting for something all day.
