I do enjoy indepth discussions, but agree that face to face is the best way it can be done, and avoids a lot of stress and misunderstandings. I am glad that you have not been faced with the difficulty of trying to reconcile the two, and as I'm sure you know you are blessed indeed to have such a relationship! I very much hope God blesses you both more.
I agree with you on Genesis being an unstable platform for any argument. It has been a long time since I've read it though, when I was talking about it in my post it was all from memory, so I guess not so accurate, heh.
Your 3 points are things I have noticed too, and agree that they're probably the about only undisputed truths that can be found in this matter! I don't wish to start any discussion you're not comfortable with here, but I will say this much: I have personally worked through the subject with God, and I have been repeatedly reassured that God simply loves me for who I am, he made me the way I am, and nothing I can do can ever remove me from his love. He just told me that was all I needed to know, every time I asked. =)
