(no subject)
Hey there,
Well I haven’t updated in a really really long time… sorry about that. So lets see what’s new.
Well I have just finished the fall term at school. Nothing to exciting happening there. Joey and I have figured out what’s going on with our friendship. Basically what we are going through right now is that annoying stage when teens hate their parents. Joey is the over protective father and am the independence-craving teenager. Anyways im hoping this phase will pass.
What else? Ok this is gonna sound cheesy but I love my family. They are so funny. The other night we were having Indian food for dinner and all of a sudden my mom starts making fun of my dad because it took her “25 years of marriage” to get him to like it. Then my family moved on to the topic of whatever TV show was on. I think it was designer’s challenge or something. Anyways everyone’s job in my family surrounds something that has to do with houses. My dad does some sort of realistate, my mom did interior designing but now does realistate as well. And my brother goes to the BAC (Boston school of architecture). So my family was all adding there input in to the show. Dad was saying how that roof was bad because it was flat and not slanted. Mom was saying the people should choose the 2nd designer because they made the house look very nice and it would sell well on the market. And Greg was disagreeing with mom, he was saying they should choose the 3rd designer because they have won all these architecture awards and their design was very “space efficient”. Meanwhile im just sitting eating my food trying not to laugh. Ya so that was an inside look in to what a dinner with my family is like.
Tomorrow is Thanksgiving! Im excited I haven’t seen my cousins since forever. However we are going over to my mom’s side of the family first. eeh im not so sure how that’s going to be. I mean I love them all, but there are so many people I don’t even know most of there names. Its like one year I knew everyone and then over the next few years people got married and had kids and now I don’t even know who im talking to. Its kinda funny. Here's and example conversation: “hi Michelle!” “…Hi! How are you (…who are you?)”? “ im good, its so nice to see you again, you have grown up so much *insert pat on the head or pinching of the cheek” “…ooh thanks (I still have no clue who you are …and why are you touching/patting my face/head?)” Ugh ya then normally I escape to some room upstairs. But afterwards we are going to my aunts (dads side of the family) house for another thanksgiving dinner. This dinner is fun though cause I know everyone.
Moving on Kristen is coming soon! I can’t wait! Im having a lot of our guy friends over too. So hopefully everything will work out well and everyone will be able to come. Yea about the guy friends. So one of my friends lets call him Fred is coming over and its gonna be fun, but lets say a girl we’ll call her Becca has an itty-bitty crush on Fred. Fred just broke up with his girlfriend so Becca thought it was all right to have this ITTY BITTY crush. Well Becca just checked Fred's live journal and noticed that the ex-girlfriend wrote Fred. Saying that he was amazing and she knew him so well. Well Becca got nervous about this because it sounds like the ex-girlfriend is still likes Fred. Which is cool because Fred is cool and so is the ex girlfriend. So Becca doesn’t want to get in the way of Fred and the ex-girlfriend. …So Becca doesn’t really know what to do but she plans on having fun anyways at the party with Fred, Kristen and everyone else. So that’s the story about Becca and Fred. Ill update if there is more to tell.
Got to go and call Jordan to see if he can come over Friday. Lets hope so.
