Intro
I joined LJ a while ago, but I've only began actively using the site last year while I browsed Glee communities. I've been lurking in fandom for a while, but after turning 18, I feel like I can participate in fandom without shame now. :)
So I live in Chicago; I moved to the U.S. from Japan when I was eight. I've always liked manga, but middle school was when I really immersed myself in the media. I tend to move from genre to genre, and I'm loving BL at the moment. My favorite BL mangaka is Yamashita Tomoko; I also enjoy titles by Nakamura Asumiko, Yoshinaga Fumi, est em, and Mizushiro Setona. My favorite manga of all time is Phoenix by Osamu Tezuka.
Aside from reading manga, I like to bake and shop for shoes. :)
