I'm confused about Skinheads
I was hanging at my local pub the other day when I struck up a conversation with a bald dude. We were chatting about another nearby pub and bald dude (Chris) told me he'd been kicked out of there for fighting. He told me he'd been sitting at the bar when a guy walked up and asked "are you a skinhead?" Chris said "yes." Dude from the bar rolls up his sleeve and shows off a Nazi Iron Eagle tatoo. Chris tells the guy to fuck off. When Chris left the bar, neo-Nazi dude followed him outside, asked him if he "loved Hitler" and bashed him with a beer mug.
So the question I didn't get to ask Chris was: are people who identify themselves as skinheads NOT NECESSARILY Neo-Nazis? If so, what does it mean to be a skinhead?
