What I learned at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum

Last year, my folks moved to a small town 75 miles east of Nashville. We visited them last week for Christmas. On a rare day off from family (in)activities, Kristy and I visited the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in N'ville where I was reminded of the following:

1) Elvis was one tacky mutha (his Cadillac featured mother of pearl and crushed diamonds in the finish, and a 24 karat gold-plated TV in the back).
2) Dolly Parton has one of the most amazing voices ever. It's easy to see why Porter Wagoner felt threatened by her.
3) The Hee Haw Girls were the hottest thing on '70s television, bar none
