best christmas ever

so, for about a week, i had to walk around some parts of the apartment with my eyes closed so i couldn't see the enormous parts of the gift david had got for me. then christmas eve he kicked me out so that he could set it up. so i spent the night at peach's house. it was fun and we saw pineapple express. weirdest movie ever. we woke up late, even though the girls get up early to open their gifts. lol, i managed to get a few pictures. peach cooked up a bunch of delicious chili pies and an apple pie. then we all shot up to mom's house, where don's family was as well. i think james got even taller. lol, nez and i talked about the catbus. i'm going to buy the materials and she's going to actually put it together. it's going to be bigger than the one we made before. whoo! so it was fun, and mom had made the most delicious and perfect chicken i have ever tasted. i mean, it was juicy, the seasonings were perfectly soaked in, and david, peach, and i just couldn't believe it. i meant to bring some home with me. :(
anyway, so nez had got a crapload of gifts for the girls. lots of clothes. their faces were so light with excitement. mom gave don this really neat digital picture frame. aunt tuesday was there with elaina, who surprisingly was awake most of the time. the chili pies were pretty nearly demolished entirely. i now have the few remaining pieces. lol. david and i went to his parents house for a little bit. his mom gave us this beautiful card and a bit of money. can you say providence? anyway, we shot back to mom's house to get some chili pie for his mom. as we were on our way, pudge called me on nez's cell phone. so cute. then we were there. peach and them were leaving. we all gave hugs and kisses and went on our way out. david and i then headed to jill's house to drop off another piece of the neal family's famous chili pie. we got to talking about the band and football and terrel made some weird comment about david. i felt a flash of annoyance, but let it go because i trusted david and his sister.
anyway, so then, at 10:30 and very thoroughly exhausted, we finally headed home. david asked for my phone and i assumed he had to make a call or something. i had to once more close my eyes, and i was put in the room to wait a few minutes while david checked my gift. he brought me out, eyes closed, and sat me on the floor. suddenly i heard the opening chords from an x (the anime) song. the sound enveloped me and was so pure. he told me to open my eyes. i nearly fell backward as i saw the huge silver tv before me, with a 5 disc dvd player and several speakers that were now playing music from my phone! a box sat wrapped in christmas paper on the tv stand. david smiled and told me to open it but that my gift wasn't in it. it was a wii box. i danced around in goofy excitement as he retrieved it from somewhere and set it up. the screen came up and he talked me through it a little bit. it had come with wii fit, so after i created a mii (the cutest thing ever! btw my mii is named michon and i'm totally going to make some after my characters) i did a little bowling and then tennis. then i hugged him and burst into tears. i thought, wow, usually women only cry when a man gives them an engagement ring, and here i am crying over a wii and a tv. but it was in how he'd set it up, in how thoughtful and streamlined it was, in how he presented it to me, and how he had to pull on all of the skills that usually got him in trouble to set this up for me. he held me and said my joy was what made it special. he had done a wonderful job, and was rightly proud of himself. after i pulled myself together, we stole off to blockbuster to pick up a few games and a movie, then headed home and played until nearly 5 in the morning. he had to go to work at noon, and i just enjoyed the surround sound and mario galaxy for the next few hours. when he got home from work, we went to pick up aundrea, with whom we were to go ice skating. she gave us this amazing window trinket; a little rainbow colored structure with shapes of beautiful flowers. it fell down once, but thankfully didn't break. while we were showing off how to get our butts kicked in mario galaxy, jada and jaryn stopped by. we all watched videos on youtube via the wii, most of them disturbing, and laughed and joked and talked about ohayocon for hours. then finally, we all piled out to head to fountain square. david and aundrea were the only ones who had skated before, so the rest of us took it very slowly at first. then i got the hang of it. it was annoying, though, because there were groves in the ice and snow from the ice that had been skated up. the next cleaning wasn't until midnight. :(
in any event, i had so much fun!! i picked up the speed a few times, and fell four times when my skates got caught in the ice. jaryn mostly stuck to the wall. aundrea took it slow and easy. david helped jada out a lot. it was a little hard to remember they were cousins. anyway, so we all piled into the warming tent for a few minutes, then went back out for a few rounds. then we had to get david to work so we went to drop aundrea off at home. she handed us a card from the others/alters. it was signed by most of the others. it was only one side though. it warmed our hearts. we thanked aundrea for helping make our christmas awesome. david dropped me off at home then headed off to work. with the exception of erynn, i got to spend time with the people dearest to me. this last month has been utterly perfect, and i never knew christmas could be so good. i'm just so in love with the world right now. lol, i told jessie beckles that since my life before had been full of bad times, the rest of my life should be smooth sailing. rofl. oh, and such wonderful projects coming up. i feel youthful and bubbly. let the future come. so beautiful.
