when i was little, about 8 or 9, i used to wonder why people couldn't think from their feet. if we had such a thing as a spirit, then it shouldn't be confined to our brain, right? well, years later, in a book about the cosmos called the holographic universe by michael talbot, i got my answer. isn't it quite the oddity how things work out?

in other, ridiculous news, i had to switch my major to philosophy because uc decided it was a brilliant idea to close out the brain and mind studies track without preparing or providing alternatives for us. yippee! yeah, tried to shuffle us into neuroscience and me personally into psychology, such limiting programs. sigh, they couldn't even have let us finish? i mean we're in our last two years! oh well. such is as it is most assuredly.

hm, so yes, i'm kind of slacking on the third allison dutch book. i wanted it done by new years. ha ha. i'm giving myself an extension until ohayocon. six chapters to go. ha ha, oh, delightful adventures await. yes, the most random ending ever.

i love growing my mind. i used to picture a miniature me jumping from wall to wall in my skull, trying to break free. the same problem arising in the question, why can't we think from our feet? well, i found my way out long ago. people have some strange talents, don't they?
