"The stages of a relationship can be defined by farting.
stage 1: fantasy period: no bodily waste (no farting);
stage 2: shy period: 'did you fart?' ;
stage 3: sheepish admission ;
stage 4: farting honeymoon (where the couple finds each other's fart, about the cutest thing possible);
and since honeymoon doesn't last for ever... we progress on to
stage 5: a 'fork in the road'. either the fart loses its effect on the couple and therefore channels them towards true love,
OR it starts to annoy which leads to the love being blocked and rancid and therefore: breakup."
