With one week plus one day of work left, I'll like to make the most of being 'paid to surf fashion blogs' and being 'paid to blog'. Especially I haven't done either in a long time. Have been using free time to study or stone, or maybe I haven't been so free in a long time. So anyway, here goes... But be warned, I foresee really random topics coming up.
Soo, finally recalled the name of one of the fashion blogs I like. Have been trying for days to recall her name. Hah. Just can't be bothered to turn on my lappy cuz it's chui like that. Remember, remember it's Taghrid. T-A-G-H-R-I-D. Such a difficult name to remember. But she has nice round booty, so it's okay. Another blog I like.. pity she stopped blogging. Her clothes were all black, but beautiful black clothes she had. I forgot her name too. Something in black. Geesh, so bad with names. Recently found a local fashion blog with alot of black clothes by not one, but a group of girls. Pretty good, I'd say. I love her shoe collection. Vast and amazing. I know I've said this before, but I need cool shoes.
Shoes.. ahh, I love the brown pumps I'm wearing. I always find it difficult to fiind shoes I like in Singapore. Especially with a reasonable price tag. So I went to Malaysia with the boyfriend and tadah! Found 2 pairs of footwear! That day was an adventure.. nobody we asked knew the place we wanted to go. So we just walked and walked till we got to our destination.
2 person, 5 dishes. Gluttons.
Made another Malaysia trip with the girls prolly two weeks ago. Nando's for lunch, classic mani and pedi, an hour long of full-body massage, wash+cut hair, mini bottles of OPI, cabbed everywhere and seafood dinner (crayfish+stingray+othergoodstuff). All these in under SGD120. Money well-spent.
Fang Yin & Jie Hui came back to Singapore during the CNY period and we met up quite a few times. Most times included a deck or two of Monopoly Deal cards. Then we went to Pulau Ubin one Sunday.
Jie Hui FLEW off her bike and got her elbows, knees and even her chin scrapped. The wounds were bleeding quite badly, luckily we managed to call for help. That's the Ubin policemen cleaning up her wounds and they later sent her and Yee Ping back to Ubin "town". They ordered dishes for our seafood dinner and waited for us to join them.
There was Nicholas Pang's b'day last month - he's Joel's army buddy, who also happens to be my classmate. He celebrated it at Bistro Du Vin, one of the restaurants under the L.A Group. The 6-course meal was awesome.
Joel also brought Ian & I to try the food at Pepperoni, another restaurant under the L.A Group. Their pizza is better than the much raved about pizza from Timbre. We managed to get the chef to "add ingredients" for us, thanks to Joel. It was my first time trying squidink pasta. It didn't look the least bit appealing, but it tasted really good. Not a first date food though. :p I don't remember what desserts we ordered, but I remember them to be pretty good too.
In the month of February, I prolly went to Ikea 5 times. No, I'm SURE I did. Twice with Sher, once with Carol, once with my family, and once with Mary & Nic. Prior to that, I haven't been to Ikea cuz nobody wanted to go. Then all of a sudden, everyone wanted to go! Guess what, my dad's asking me to go again. Tonight. Anita wants to go next week too! Egad. With all that meatballs I've eaten last month, it's no wonder my face looks like one too.
That's all for now. That's ALOT actually. Spent the entire day on this post, on and off la, and with sucky internet connection today. Going to Ikea soon. How to lose weight in time for my cousin's ROM on Sunday?
