spider-man!
...Just got home from the movies where I saw spider-man 3! Of course I had to see it even if critics didn't think it was that great, but I mean... James Franco, Topher Grace, Tobey Maguire? Hells yeah!
Topher was AMAZING as Venom/Eddie Brock Jr.!! He should play the villain more often... I absolutely love him. He's so sarcastic and cocky in the movie. Eric Foreman all the way!! XD
James Franco was extremely cute as always. I love the tall, dark, handsome, byronic hero sort. And he's perfect! I always love a good villain. They are so much more interesting than the good guys. I thought he was great... some of the scenes with Mary Jane were really corny, but overall! LOVE. Of course I might be a little biased...
Tobey Maguire is cute, but he makes the WEIRDEST faces. I mean seriously. He also has a really fat chin that was distracting me throughout the movie (dah!). The whole dancing thing was bizarre and unnecessary. And I love how he was all "emo kid" when he had his venom suit thing on. Nice eyeliner!
There was a lot of action, I can see where the critics could say there was less of a story.. nothing really progressed... Harry died! Eddie died! Which is really depressing because I loved those roles.
I liked it. There were some wierd parts that I would have done differently (had I been directing the film. ha.). And Topher Grace needs to be the bad guy always.
EDIT: I saw a preview for "Across the Universe" before Spider-Man 3, and it looks really good. And they only used Beatles songs during the preview! I've pretty much already decided that I love that movie.
