☭☭ 01/05/2011 ☭☭
I have to admit that those days in this year; I’m more active than ever. Yesterday, I went to bubble show w/ my friend, and today, I spent the whole morning cooking Bun bo Hue. Unbelievable!. I didn’t think my dad want to eat them so much. So we went to the nearby market to buy ingredients. He drove me from the old market to the new market just to buy some pork bone (Vietnamese for “xương ống” - don’t know what it called in English, I use Google but found nothing T^T). He said that bones make the soup sweeter. We buy some vegetables and bun - who can eat Bun bo Hue without bun? J. Then the whole family join the cooking - my father chopped the bone and stew them, my younger sister cleaned the vegetable and I did the remain work. After 2hrs, we finished the dish and began to ‘fight’ with it. Of course it’s was delicious, since we tried my best to cook it that we didn’t eat breakfast (or maybe because everything

I hope mom will be jealous when she saw photos of what we did today. She had already left for a trip with her friend. This is really unfair.
Some fun fact that I draw from the cooking process:
1. My dad said: “Isn’t it cheaper if we eat outside? It cost near 200.000VND to make the whole stew, but we just have to pay 30.00VND to eat it at the market (for 3 pp).”. I laughed but said nothing. His face was quite funny when he said it.
2. The second thing, quite embarrassing, but when we ate the dish, we said nothing to each other, we just focus on our work: ‘fighting with the dish”. What the hell is that?
