the Lady Amalthea:
Based on the description from the book the Last Unicorn (not the movie). The movie was great and all, but like all movies there were things they had to change (like Prince Lir's back-story) or leave out (like Hagsgate, or the four men-at-arms--who were mentioned, but never seemed to be around for some reason XD ). Anyway, this is my interpretation of Lady Amalthea--the most notable difference between my version and the movie version is the bump on her forehead; the book describes it as a flower, the movie shows it as a star. Also, her dress is very simple because Molly Grue was a crude seamstress XD
Anyway. If you like the movie, read the book. It seems like almost every person I run into that loved the movie had never even heard of the book, which saddens me because the book was so good.
