got the new death cab for cutie album.
It sounds (everybody expected it too) like a blending of death cab and Postal Service. Seriously. It's kind of disappointing, in a way--I mean, I saw it coming, because with each new album, DCFC reinvents themselves, and this time, they reinvented themselves to sound like a DCFC/PS hybrid. And all at the same time, I love the new album. Because I love both bands. I guess maybe I was just hoping of more music along the lines of Transatlanticism (inarguably their best album yet). I don't know, maybe they'll eventually have another album that's similar to it. Only time will tell.
I am exhausted. I haven't had a whole lot of sleep for the past couple of days. I think I'll go take a nap.
