I'm thinking of replacing them already anyway XD I suddenly had a vision...have you ever played Soul Calibur 2? There's this character named Yoshimitsu, and he has a pogo attack...anyway, I'll post it when I make it XD

eeew, dont do a Yoshimitsu avatar. Do one with one the cool characters, Like Siegfried or Raphael or something. Anyway, Yoshimitsu is much cooler in Tekken.

technically, you're not supposed to use copyrighted material in anything you post on DA. It's one of their very strict rules. Since I used images from the manga, which is copyrighted, I can't post it on DA. And it would be really hypocritical if I did, because I've reported so many people that have done something similar ^^;

Technically, a lot of the stuph that you have up is against the rules. But I'm not going to tell on you ;)

oops. That doesn't really make sense though, as long as you are using released images for non profit purposes, you aren't violating copyright. O.o

Japanese companies pretty much don't care (in fact, they find it flattering--which is why the doujinshi market is so huge), and most American companies don't care either, about some random internet user using their copyrighted material to make an avatar or a signiture. The reason DA bans it, though, is because users were making "collages" from anime/comic book/movie pictures and selling them, so DA decided to cover their asses completely and not allow any copyrighted material. So to be on the safe side, I don't post anything I've made that uses someone else's stuph, unless I can prove that I have the direct permission from the artist (which I have done before; I made some wallpapers of astrima's work and posted it with her permission =)
