Since I've come out to California I've greatly enjoyed getting to know all the people on the Step side of my family. There are lots of people to know and they are all wonderful! This side of my family is very tight knit and everyone is like a sister more than a cousin or niece or nephew. I say this because yesterday I got some absolutely horrible news. My cousin Melissa, whom I've met several times and loved dearly, suddenly died yesterday. The news has shattered many hearts throughout my family as she was only seventeen. I've only known her for 5 months but with this and all the hurt in those close to me have been impacted greatly as well. I wrote her Eulogy today. I hope you rest in peace Melissa. Blessed be.
