About two or three weeks ago I posted (a locked entry) about going onto a dating site, how it's going well, and how I'd made a few casual dates. A few were for up here in Tokyo.
See, I haven't dated in a long time, and whenever I'd fall for a guy, he'd inevitably not like me. I've been sure, for a long time, that I'm just not very attractive or too weird to be loved or something. I figured I'd get some casual hookups; maybe if I was lucky I'd find someone eventually who liked me.
Well, my ego is definitely soothed.
I now have one young man who says he wants me to be his girlfriend and calls every night.
And tonight a slightly older, and very well off, man took me to dinner at a gorgeous restaurant with live music, a stunning view of Tokyo and cocktails that cost 1200 yen each.
And proposed.
