301

I just finished reading all my lj entries. all 300 of them (last entry was my 300th) and wow. i realized i changed a lot during the summer. i was alone for most of the summer. i think thats what made the difference. so in order to pay respect to my summer, which was good/bad/lonely/fun, here are my top five summer days in no particular order.

1-I was in israel and my friends and i went to this huge party on a beach. it was one of those MTV sponsored parties and wow. i felt so carefree. we danced, laughed, talked until dawn. it was the only point where i felt ok during my three weeks in israel. e my friends and i rode a bus back to beer-sheva at around 6 am with the one of the DJs from the party, infected mushroom (apprently theyre famous, i dont know.) At one point, we pulled ever and sat in the middle of the desert to watch the sun rise. it was incredible. Gilad kissed me (which wasnt what made the night incredible but still..) and we all just lay there for a few minutes. wow.

2- the day i went to coney island with ben haas. i was really sick with encephalitis and really lonely. that day made me so happy. it was so simple, fun, and relaxing. it was exactly what i needed.
post from that day

3- One night, Norman came over. we watched tv and chilled, and then we went out with my brother and his friends. we thought we were going to see "pirates of the carribean" but instead we drove around the city listening to Adam Green, hung out in the park, and then sat on a pier by the river just hanging out. it was so much fun. I love norman and it was great to spend time with him. we hit up a diner around 1 am and norman had an ice cream sunday. i went to work the next day with a hangover.

4- The airplane ride back from Israel. My brothers and I were just joking around and having fun. it was so classic. i really love them, and the way we were on the way back from israel is the way in which i will always remember my brothers. i want to remember them just like that. funny, smart, and crazy. plus i was finally coming home from that damn country.

5- My last day at work at the hospital. I wasnt happy because it was my last day of work, but because it made me realize a lot of things and think about things differently. that job taught me a lot. plus they made me a cake. im really excited to start working there again next week. i loved those kids and that job meant so much to me even if it was boring at times.

note: there were a lot of other really incredible days, but these are what popped out at me when i thought of my summer.
also, my days when i hung out or talked to john, or even thought about the wonderful being that is john were absolutely awesome. (now stop bitching john)
sigh...i miss summer.
