NetFlix and MirrorMask
Well... I joined NetFlix.
As a result, I am now getting the chance to see several of those classic, cult-followed movies that I've never seen while growing up.
MirrorMask, though a newer one, was first on my list (well, second if you count Doctor Who: The Three Doctors).
It was truly a great movie! I really liked how it looked like the characters were moving through a painted world. Makes me want to figure out how to create imagery like what I'd seen in there.
The Dark Crystal should be arriving in the mail any day now as well. I remember that being references from a Changeling book, right?
Anyhow, I know that there were several other movies along this line that various members of Mantopia, and their affiliates, had suggested for me to watch. However, I can't remember the title of most of 'em.
If any of you can think of anything for me to add to my queue, it would be greatly appreciated.
Right now, I have the following listed:
Time Changer
The Secret of H-I-M-H
Time Bandits
The Goonies
Yes, it’s a short list. I know.
Hopefully it will grow. XP
