Name: Michiko Yamaoka
Age: 15
Gender: Female
DOB: June 21st
Report Card: B-/C+

Appearance: Michiko has somewhat layered, straight shoulder-length hair with bangs that cut all the way around her forehead. She has dark brown hair, un-dyed, with dark eyes, they're almost a shade darker than her hair. She usually lets it down, though on occasion, it can be seen pulled up into a short ponytail. She has a thin but fit build, and stands at five feet, four inches tall. Her style consists of unusual clothes she sewed and patched by herself, a hobby of hers.

Perosonality: Michiko is a good-hearted girl, who tries to make the best out of what she has. Stress isn't a big issue for her, as she can pull solutions from different kinds of scenarios. She sometimes feels as if she isn't good enough for something, as her older brother was a star athlete and her older sister was class representative and a model student. She's slow to anger and annoyance and her nature is caring, sweet. After school, Michiko usually volunteers at the local preschool, taking care of the children there, and she loves doing this dearly.

Strengths: Endurance: Michiko has tried time and time again to try and match her brother in his athletic ability. Unfortunately, she couldn't, as she lacked the talent to do so. But all those training sessions with her brother and on her own have given her incredible endurance. Basic Defense: Her brother took martial arts, and to practice, used his little sister, Michiko. He had also taught her some basics. No offense movements, but things that could keep her temporarily safe from knife-wielding, or fist-fighting killers until help arrived. Fighting Anger Down: When Michiko feels anger, or sadness, she can usually push it down to where it doens't become a threat to her or the people around her. Nobody in her class has seen her properly angry or depressed.

Weaknesses: A bit slow: Though Michiko can have quick thinking, when being explained something, it takes a while for Michiko to register. When it comes to book-smarts, Michiko must take time away from her acutal lessons to study hard and ends up just passing. Fear of Heights: If there is one thing that can make her lose her gentle, patient nature, it's heights. At the age of four, her brother, Kiyoshi, had been extremely angry at her and had dangled her by her neck above the roof. Her sister had found her, scolded Haru and brought Michiko inside, but to this day, Michiko fears heights with a passion.  Shy:  When she meets someone knew, or someone she doesn't know very well, Michiko tends to be timid, and unwilling to open up and trust. Once she trusts them however, she opens up and can become very energetic.

Overnight Bag: Michiko brought along the normal things, such as a few changes of clothes, some feminine products, and a notebook and pen, along with a sketchpad and pencils to keep her busy during the ride. But she also took along her latest sewing projects along with her sewing needle and thread. She brought her toiletries, along with her cell phone and a CD/mp3 player that can tune into the radio.

Family:
Kumiko Yamaoka: Kumiko is Michiko's mother. She graduated near the top of her class in high school, and got accepted to and graduated from a presitgeous university. Kumiko has been extremely successful.

Takuro Yamaoka: Takuro is Michiko's father. He also went to a prestigeous university, and graduated from law school with good marks. He is a strong-willed lawyer, and has been successful as well with his job.

Fumi Yamaoka: Michiko's older sister. She is the born leader of the family. She was class representative many times running and is a model student. She has been in university for a while, and Michiko looks up to her for her great courage and leadership abilities.

Kiyoshi Yamaoka: Michiko's older brother. He is fond of Michiko, though earlier in life, he had been angry at her for taking all the attention that was usually bestowed upon him. He is a star athlete, and a steadfast, stubborn kid. He is currently in high school.

History: When Michiko was born, there was quite a lot of fuss. She grew up slightly spoiled, but Kiyoshi made sure she didn't get spoiled rotten, and kept her from turning into a brat. Ever since she was small, Kiyoshi practiced his martial arts moves on her, which usually ended up in her sobbing and her parents punishing him.

After the incident where Kiyoshi hung her over the roof, he became increasingly nicer, teaching her things, and treating her nicely. Though she looked up to Fumi, Kiyoshi had always been the kind of older brother that was a good friend as well. Being rich, they had lived in the nice side of town, though when Michiko started to get older, her brother took her to badder streets, to teach her to be street-smart. It didn't work as well as he had hoped, so he trained her more avidly than ever, though it didn't amount to much.

Even if her life seemed a little picture perfect, Michiko struggled with keeping up with her siblings, who always seemed ten steps in front of her, and the second she took a step forward, they would take three steps forward, leaving her in the dust. Kept under constant pressure, she sought solace in the innocent hearts of orphaned children in this kind of preschool. She helped the service workers who worked there, and became attached to the little children. Though when she's not helping to kids, she runs Cross Country.

Teacher Observations

Classroom Behavior: Michiko seems a promising student, it just seems as though she just doesn't understand the material as much as she should. She is a bit of a letdown after seeing Fumi and Kiyoshi's reports, but there is no doubt that there is much pressure on her. She's a sweet girl, and tries her hardest, though her hardest just doesn't seem like enough.

Friends: Michiko basically gets along well with anyone, but certain stronger relationships are noted below.
Eiji Satou: Michiko tends to treat Eiji almost maternal-like, calming him down when he has a particularly hard case of his ADD. Even though he is older than her, she likes to help him, perhaps because he acts so childish and she loves helping and playing with children.
Asuka Akashita, Ayumi Suzuki, Ayane Mishima: She doesn't mind the populars, but, unlike most people, doesn't worship them nor hate them, which may have caused her being 'cool' with the group in the first place. She takes their lessons, but can't help thinking they're a bit too mean for her liking. But Michiko is a people pleaser, and just goes along with her lessons, after all, when they're not mean, the girls are actually pretty nice and fun!
Kazuhiko Shinomori: Kazuhiko is one Michiko's better friends. When Eiji had idolized Kazuhiko, Michiko didn't pay much attention to it, until Kazuhiko was rude to Eiji. One of the few times anger got the better of her, Michiko made sure Kazuhiko didn't do anything of the sort to Eiji again. At first, through respect, Kazuhiko was nice to her, but the respect soon turned into a friendship.
Other friends: Yume Mitfune, Murasaki Ochiba, Tetsuo Tsukamoto.
