日本語のテストです。

Lately, I've been somewhat anxious and on edge (maybe I drink too much coffee?).  Only two things have been able to soothe my frayed nerves:  D'espairsRay and studying Japanese.  Currently, my day is consisting of listening to D'espa while studying kanji and vocab.

This stress thing is certainly beneficial in some ways; all this studying to calm myself down is helping me quite a bit in class.  Example:

Pulled off over 100% on my latest Japanese test.  I think this is a new record.  It makes up for the test before this, in which I scored a C (I drew the stupidest of blanks when I got to a certain portion of the test; it was aggravating, because not even five minutes after I left the classroom, I realized what I did wrong.)

Last night I had my Opening Weekend Group Leader individual interview.  It went amazingly well, I think.  The person who interviewed me was really nice, and I think she liked my responses to many of the questions that were asked.  At one point, she asked the question "As an OWGL, first-years will ask you about your college party experience.  What will you tell them?"  I sort of laughed and said they'll have to ask someone else.  I don't have any party experience.  At all.  (I'm too busy studying Japanese, listening to D'espairsRay, and drinking coffee, obviously. XD)

Seriously, people.  I need to get off this coffee thing.  I think my teeth are staining.

Have a great week, everyone!
