I was in a creative mood last night and it lasted over to this very moment.
So, I drew about 7 album covers out of boredom and creativity. Not to mention I was upset. And when I'm upset, my greatest creations are, well... created. XD
Yup, so here's one of the covers I drew.
.
This is the cover for 「ERO-GURO NANSENSU」by the imaginary band, Hakanai Barado (はかないバラード...... Ephemeral Ballad).
The theme of the album is ero-guro, a genre of art of all kinds that focuses on the dysfunctional, misunderstood, bizzare, explicit, controversal, erotic and macabre. The cover art features Hiro and Ero from my novel in progress, Slipping Between my Fingers. They depict not only homosexual relationships, but also the misunderstood (Ero's eating disorders) and the socially "incorrect" (Hiro's morphine addiction). The drawing took about eight minutes to do but is still not completely finished.
Idealy, the back cover will show depict The Dream of the Fisherman's Wife, an Ukiyo-e woodcut that was a leader in the ero-guro movement.
Last thing, please don't steal. Though I didn't really put effort into this, I did put myself into it.
