In silence, you watch his every single movement. Beautiful, you think.
You two bow to each other. Older to younger. What can you make of him? He’s tiny, small, as if he’d break at any human touch. In the near future, you find yourself always being so gentle and protective with him. You have this single utter wanting to just protect this boy that will soon turn into something so foreign.
Repeat.
In silence, you watch his every single movement. Beautiful, you think. The corners of his mouth turn upwards at everything you say. Hyung, he says to you softly while smiling. You watch him grow up right in front of you. He’s growing, you think. He’s beautiful. Higher and higher you feel. You are enthralled as you watch him. Fascinated like a scientist looking over a specimen. But of course, there is much more to this. You feel your heart wavering as he comes near you. It feels as if your heart has an endless thirst for something that you cannot reach just yet. You feel amazing around him, almost as if you’ll feel this way forever. The warmth next to you comes nearer, and there goes that wavering again. Shivering at the touch, what can you do? You finger his hand carefully, threading yours into his. Softly, you tighten your hand, making sure it’s not too tight. Carefully, you keep noting to yourself. You do not want to break him.
Repeat.
You notice him staring at you. Those large brown orbs are piercing through you and you wonder why. What’s wrong, you ask him. He shrugs and turns away and you have never felt this cold before. You wonder and wonder, what exactly was that reaction? It stabs you over and over, leaving a foreign unknowing feeling on your skin. Your limbs are jittery and you just don’t understand.
Repeat.
There it is again. He’s looking at you. You don’t take notice of it yet. Ignore it. Ignore it all. You look away from him, finding a distraction. Anywhere, just anywhere besides his face. You can't take it anymore. It's just too much. This feeling that you've yet to even name had grown into something just so damn big. Why, you ask. Why are you looking at me? His body shrinks just a tad bit when he hears your voice snap at him. Ahh, Taemin... You take a step closer to him as you speak quietly now. There it is again, that wavering feeling. You're next to him now. Closer and closer your bodies touch. What's wrong, Taemin?
Repeat.
What's wrong with you, he asks instead of answering. You are shocked. What is that supposed to mean, you reply with a question. You know what I mean. Every time I see you, you're either ignoring me or doing what I was doing. Staring. Just staring at me. Why?! How are you supposed to answer? What is this feeling? You look away once more and he suddenly grabs your face with his thin hand.
Tell me.
Repeat.
Taemin... he shakes his head no when he hears you say his name. I'm old enough now; I know you. Please, just tell me what's wrong. You bite your lip in confusion. You don't want to hurt him. You don't want to break this person that you adore. Adore. Now, is that the right word? No... no, it's all wrong.
I love you. That's what's wrong. I'm not supposed to feel like this. Especially for you! The youngest... the innocent one. I'll dirty you.
Repeat.
It all happens in a flash and you find yourself being kissed, taken in all by this thin boy. Yours against his. Ahh, there it is now. You know what this is. It's all so simple now. You know now that you've gotten his answer. And you smile once more. It's only a kiss, you know that. There is no hard pressure, just a soft feeling. Yet you are satisfied with just this.
