Happy Turkey Day!!
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!! Just got back form my godmother's house and I'm so stuffed, I think i might actually be going to bed early tonight! O_O
But It was a pretty good spread she had going on there: turkey, mashed potatoes, green beans, creamed onions...it was great. Plus she had shrimp cocktail appetizers...yummmy!! She invited my family and these other couple that she knows, who also happen to be clients of hers. Very nice guys they were, and a very adorable couple. ^_^ They brought over a nice bottle of white wine, that I think made me kinda tipsy after one glass (I'm not a big wine drinker), but it was good stuff. Between that and the food, I think I got kinda sleepy around 7:30, and almost fell asleep on the couch. Definitely fun times!
We got back around 9, so I did get to tune into "The Apprentice" in which they were doing some sorta Pepsi challenge type thing. Interesting. None of these people on this season have really done anything impressive yet (in my opinion), which is really disappointing since I liked a couple of the people from the first season, especially Troy and Kwame. But whatever, maybe somebody will do something that makes them look like they deserve to win. Which on a side note, one of the guys that came to dinner tonight actually knows Jennifer C.! I hated her so much! :-P
I also stopped by Meg's house, and got some more dessert to eat!! Yum!! Now I'm definitely stuffed!
Anyways...hope everyone has an awesome Thanksgiving, and be careful if you're shopping on Black Friday!!! ^_^
