Hey kids - I haven’t written here in like a year, so I figured I was overdue. Plus I’m procrastinating, so it seems like a quasi-productive thing to do. Now that I’m a professional emailer, I’ve been avoiding the computer as much as possible in my spare time. It’s harder than you’d think, since I have a compulsive addiction to checking out apartments on craigslist. Blah, I’m so not excited about moving again. I was looking up shows online last week when I was trying to figure out what was going on for the weekend, and I came across this article about a serial killer in matt’s little suburban town where I’m going to be staying, so that’s just awesome. If he has to go anywhere before we move to the city, I’m seriously tagging along. Blah. So now this week I’m being super-wuss. I always get paranoid at night, so I’m just hanging out and drinking wine and watching daria while I wait for either devin to get home or me to get drunk and stop being paranoid. It’s kind of a race. I guess I should drink more. =) My week has been random- I am finally attempting to get over my very very lame phase of sleeping 24/7- suburbia is seriously killing me slowly. I’m so excited about going home and then going to Boston. It will be so awesome to see everyone again!!! I find myself constantly telling stories about you guys. Last month was kind of awesome because kate and arien both came to see me, and I had an excuse to go play in the ocean. I’ve gone four more times since they’ve left, which is more than I’ve managed since I moved out here. Yay, ocean! Anyway, I’m in the middle of my random show two weeks- I saw nine inch nails last Thursday, which was pretty random. Luckily they just re-released downward spiral, and a lot of the songs they played were off that album, which was convenient since it’s the only album I’ve ever listened to a super-lot. Trent is seriously huge- I was expecting him to be sort of skinny/ gothy, but he looks like an amateur wrestler. Seriously! His arms were the size of my thighs. And he was wearing one of those tank top-muscle shirts. It was just weird. But the show was awesome, and there was a Gatorade machine in the parking lot afterward, so I was pretty psyched…. joy.
Ok, now I’m just getting rambly. I guesss I’m done.
Love you all ~M
