Great quotes from my art lab this morning (well, the first one's from Monday):
"You'll be well-rounded, though." Jill, our TA, who has been in school about nine years herself, when someone said, "God, it's seriously gonna take me about ten years to finish college."
"I used to date a girl who looked just like Melissa Joan Hart ... like, spitting image of Melissa Joan Hart. It was good." David
"But seriously. School is sucking me dry. It's like, sapping my life of anything good and comfortable and replacing it with little bits of construction paper and bristol board." Rebecca (not MY Rebecca, the one in my class)
Word to that last one. I mean really ... you graduate elementary school and think, gosh. Goodbye construction paper, glue, and scissors. OH BUT NO. Don't major in art if you're feeling like you want to get away from those things. I'm 20 years old, and I've glued so much construction paper onto other pieces of paper in the past few days/weeks .. that it's hilarious. Ridiculous. CRAPTASTIC.
I thought about not going to lecture today ... but I pretty much have to since my grade/life depend on it. So ... I'm going. In about ten minutes.
