Friday, At Last!
Just 4 more weeks to go!! That's just 18 school days now!!
It feels soooo good to sit on the couch, read and watch TV for a while. :) I've been staying at school super late this week in an attempt to truly pull myself out of the disorganized vortex that sucked me in this year. I'm not nearly done - in fact, I'd barely call it halfway - but with the extra day to relax this weekend, I'm optimistic that I'll be able to power through and come out on top by June 21.
One of these years, I'll manage to stay organized enough to last the year. I think this year I lasted about 3 months, if that. I'll figure it out.

In other news, I made a deal with one of our PFO co-presidents (a delightful woman who was born and raised in Italy) that whenever I saw her, I'd try and speak only Italian to practice. I may have dug myself into a hole on this one, to the great amusement of her 3rd-grade (almost 4th grade now!) daughter who is going to help me. ;)
And now, let the eating, drinking and merriment commence as we officially kick off the summer season! Have a great Memorial Day weekend, everyone!!
