Never a Dull Moment

Sep 04, 2011 11:23

CHARACTERS: Me - hairbrush in hand, hair out to God-knows where; Laura - exfoliating masque on face, peering into the mirror; Joey - annoying 17-year-old know-it-all brother

SCENE: Yesterday morning. My house. In the bathroom. At the sink brushing our teeth and washing our faces.

ME: Ugh, my gum hurts. I don't know what I did to it, it's sore. *checks out in mirror*

LAURA: I stabbed myself in the mouth with my toothbrush the other day.

ME: ...The frig? How'd you manage that one?

ENTER JOEY.

JOEY: Oh, is this where they're holding the Idiots' Convention this year? *promptly ducks*

.....

Yep, never a dull moment at my house.

In other news, my cousins from Ontario are here for Nonno's 80th birthday! Yay! We were at Zia Marylena and Zio Nino's house with them last night, and I just love them. They're so much fun. Cousin Nancy loves firemen, so we took her to the firehouse because Dad was working overtime and just let her go nuts and take pictures. XD

Now, we were supposed to leave half an hour ago to go to my Zio Michael and Zia Irene's house for a Labor Day/Birthday party (or as my Canadian cousins spell it, "Labour Day"), and here I sit with enough time to make a blog post. Go figure.

life, cousins
