I'm Feeling:
complacent

Hey Howdy Hey!!

So I've been back at UConn since Friday. I'm loving it like no other. Senior year, WOOT!

I feel like I should be more nervous, but I'm actually still feeling on top of things. I've got the Italian Club pretty under control for now, and only 4 classes at a time along with clinical shouldn't be that tough. A lot of lesson planning will occur this semester.

Aaaaand I'm living with my sister and best friend!! How could life be any better??? Laura and I haven't killed each other yet, and Michelle and I...I'm not envisioning problems. Her boyfriend Trevor is a pain in the ass sometimes, but I've known him for 3-going-on-4 years now, and he's my friend, and he does it to be facetious, and I can handle that.

That said, Social Studies Methods is going to rule all for the next 5 weeks. We RALLIED assignment number one and made a really nice presentation in 20 minutes, and we get to make an "All About Me" bag for next class...I've always loved Social Studies and History, and I'm looking forward to it.

I feel like so much has happened since my last post, but nothing's worth talking about except for Kat and Matt's wedding. The fact that both of my friends there are 22 is starting to get less and less weird for me...although seeing them as adults up at the altar was a little strange. It's not the concept of them getting married that freaks me out - it's the thought that they're old enough to get married. That means that as one year behind them, I'm old enough.

Only grown-ups get married!! I may be 21 and a senior in college, but am I really a "grown-up"? Frightening thought - and yet, kind of cool at the same time. I'm beginning to really love my independence, and the trust that my parents are starting to put in me more and more, especially when it comes to going away by myself or doing things with Greg like going to NYC or having him visit here for a weekend.

Well...that's about all for now. More as life unfolds. And now that I'm back at school, I'll probably be around more often.
