OK, so randomly? Who else is a HUGE dork like myself and absolutely can NOT wait until Enchanted comes out on DVD? I MUST SEE IT AGAIN! AND REPEATEDLY!!
And not be sick anymore!!!! For you see, I have been deathly ill with what our University health center has only diagnosed as "some mutant form of the flu, so we're just going to prescribe a few different drugs, have fun with that, hope you can breathe again/talk/swallow without pain soon!" Oh, and they didn't mention that if I thought that was bad, that the student health services pharmacy downstairs is also made of incompetency and failure.
Ranty-rant-rant. :-P
Anyway, I have now officially been dating my good friend Greg (well, now my boyfriend! Goodness!) for a little over 2 weeks now! It's been great...he's like the happy medium between Justin and Jon. He's the first guy to ever get me flowers on Valentine's day in all of my almost-21 years on this earth. And he spent every minute he could with me this weekend while I had a fever of 103 and was hacking my brains out. (And somehow didn't get sick himself. Crazy super Polish immune system or something. *shrug*). And he treated me to dinner last week when we went with our friends to see
Jeff Dunham. And he's just pretty much awesome.
And a funny thing I found out today...
So, as you may or may not know, my high school team was the Black Knights. I dated Justin, who played football for our rival school, who were the Vikings. Clearly, it didn't work out.
So when I started dating Jon, randomly one day he pulls out his yearbook and I see the cover and went... "You guys...no way. You were the Vikings???" Let the rival jokes ensue. Here, Jon is not a douchebag, but again, the relationship does not work out.
Today, I start joking around about high school with Greg, and he goes, "Black Knights? ...We were the Knights, too, just Green Knights!"
A SIGN, PERHAPS??? lol I suppose we shall see!
I also find it appropriate at this point to tell you what amuses some of us Stamfordites about our 3 major high schools. The teams are all soldiers/warriors of some sort. The two public high schools are the Black Knights and the Vikings.
And our Catholic School team? The Crusaders. No, I'm not kidding. Endless amusement in my mind.
Tomorrow's looking like it will be better as far as my health goes. And my parents stopped in with Joey on their way home from MA, which was also nice. I know I'll be home next week for break, but what can I say...the fam drives me up the wall sometimes, but I love them. We're loud and Italian and crazy, it's just how we roll :)
Buona Notte, ragazzi :)
