Three years since a post. My attention turned to MySpace, Friendster, and now Facebook. I'm thinking of heading back here to this cozy little corner on the interwebs. Too many co-workers and family members to find me on FB, and I like this little nook of something more private, albeit still public.
I've been reading Roving Pack, a phenomenal read by Sassafrass Lowrey. Moving through this story reminded me so much of some of my wild adventures of coming out in Boston in my early twenties. So of course I had to indulge my curiosities and start reading through old entries. Whoa. It's very true when they say the only constant is change.
I'm still living in Michigan. Home for seven years now, I've found myself back in school to finally, finally pursue my nursing degree. Still working through the pre-requisites, and I'm finding that full time work with a varying schedule and three courses is a bit much this semester. Only a month and a half until I'm finished with the semester, then it's moving on to the next round. If I can stay on course I'll have my RN in four years.
A lot has changed, and I'm still in love, still rather feral, and still learning a lot about life. Anyone here? Maybe I'll get back to writing more, as it's been a journey I appreciate being able to read through history and being able to mark where I've been and remember where I'm going.
