Miraculously all the shows I currently love are returning. That’s a first, I think. So far I’m adding two new shows to the roster: Hawaii Five-O (starring Alex O’Loughlin, Daniel Dae Kim, Scott Caan and James Marsters!) and Undercovers (created by the uberawesome J.J. Abrams!). I haven’t decided if I’m going to return to NCIS and NCIS: LA or not. I kind of bailed on both this year. I didn’t mean to, but with NCIS: LA on opposite LOST and NCIS being, quite frankly, boring, they fell from must-see-tv status a few weeks ago.

With the CW moving Supernatural to Fridays, I can now watch Fringe live, since Fox seems determined to make a go of it on Thursdays. I find it hilarious that the network breakdown stands thus:

NBC: 2

FOX: 1

CBS: 1

ABC: 1

CW: 3

Who’d have thunk that? ;-)

Shows I’ve said goodbye to: Dollhouse (canceled), FlashForward (canceled), LOST (ending), V, House, Bones, and Grey’s Anatomy. Now I stopped watching House and Bones last season, but I have been following both via recaps and such. And man, am I glad that I bailed when I did. Between Bones’ 100th episode retcon and House’s vomit inducing Huddy (not to mention the departure of Cameron), I don’t even want to read the recaps anymore. Both shows are a study in how to ruin a once great show. It’s sad really. I abandoned Grey’s Anatomy earlier this season just before Teddy showed up. I’m finally over Shonda’s bullshit. She has 5 storylines and just keeps recycling them over and over. And now she’s a professional at character assassination as well. RIP Owen Hunt, it was great for a while, but you’re now a shadow of your former self. Poor Kevin McKidd, he deserves better than this. L

I tried to watch V, I really did. But once they put it on after LOST, there was no hope. I can’t concentrate on aliens after getting brainfucked by LOST. And the show itself is kinda lame. Elizabeth Mitchell is still my hero, but I’ll have to watch her on my LOST dvds until she gets a new gig more worthy of her awesomeness. I bailed on FlashForward when it came back from its extended hiatus. Again, more actors I love, but the story blew. Supposedly, it got better but I’ll have to Netflix it to find out for sure. LOST’s ending will probably get its very own post after the finale on Sunday. *sniff* I’m not ready, dammit!!!!
