Or maybe she's so perfect that she just never shows. This is what I'm thinking, if my other denial theory does not pan out. She's one of those ladies who goes through her whole pregnancy looking like she's growing a jellybaby inside and then POOF! one day there's a fullly grown kid, ta-da!-- and it's like nothing even happened. No swollen ankles, no monstrous breasts (cos Jack mentioned them but it's not like they actually followed through and made her bigger, eyeroll), no tummy fat, no nothing. Cos SHE'S JUUUUUUST THAAAAAAT PEEEEEERFECT.

Augh.

Am I conveying my sarcasm here??

Meanwhile what you said up there makes me wanna swing by tumblr just to show I am rational as I think we all pretty much are and have been all along. AND it makes me wanna avoid it like the plague because MY HEAD would explode with comebacks cos I love fighting for my ship a little too much. It's rather unhealthy. I get really riled up so it's better than I express my expreme dislike and dissatisfaction through fic. Although I must say what annoys me more than other fans' disdain, is that the show seems to share their disdain and we have no recourse when it comes to answering them back!

Well, it is true, she is the world's most perfect woman. I bet if Liz got pregnant, she'd be hideous and look like an actual person! Ugh, she is the worst. No wonder why Jack is grossed out by her.

But, really, what the hell is this all about? I need to know when this baby is coming out, so I can steel myself.

On Tumblr I am sticking mostly with the Jack/Liz people, but I kind of couldn't help seeing the post muic and I were referencing, and it bummed me out. I almost responded to it directly, but I feel like that's always going to result in animosity, even if I don't mean it to, since people can be really nasty about Jack/Liz shipping. Because, of course, if I want two characters to get together romantically, it negatively impacts the lives of others in deep, deep ways and they should hate me forever! (Sarcasm all up in this post.) I really don't get why people care so much about what other fans enjoy since, even if a ship annoys you, you can ignore it and move on with your life. At least that's what I've done. But what do I know, I'm completely crazy.

OMG SAME. I need to know whether it is worth still loving this show and these people. I am just waiting now cos I cannot BELIEVE that they think this is the way to go. I mean...WHAT. the. BLERG.

See, I don't get that either. Why do people have to get so nasty about it? There's just no need. They make out that shippers have got it all wrong when it's just another perspective and WE GET THAT. We're not a cult trying to convert everybody or anything. And I might be biased but I think the shippers are the ones that are more reasonable, more cool about it and the ones NOT creating all the division.

Well, the non-shippers are the ones throwing around words like 'crazy' and 'disgusting,' so I daresay I agree with you. I just don't get why the hell anyone would be that annoyed by a ship. And I am kind of easily annoyed.

I dunno, maybe these are the people they are making the current show for. They seem to have in common the propensity to hurl insults without much cause (and maybe think it's funny).
