There are so many great little nuances, like the way Jack looks at Marina during their dinner, or Liz turning her back so Danny can't see her face while she's talking to Jack.

Damn, I wonder what Jack told Danny! What a lousy dude. (But I like him in this story because at least he's paying attention...)

I don't really Jack is being too much of a jerk, since it's the sort of thing that's really only hurtful in this context, and if Liz didn't feel anything for Jack, she wouldn't care that there was this extra dimension to the lie. (And I do like writing Jack as someone who notices/cares that Liz is obviously dealing with something. I like Jack this way!)

I'm afraid the post date for part four will be Saturday. But I might get it up sooner!
