I like this scenario because their friendship is really deep, but it also makes me so, so sad to think of them agreeing to not be in love with each other but get married. SO SAD.

I also don't think they could do it for long. (Live together, have sex, have kids, and not be in love.) One way or the other!

Yeah, the idea of 'settling' in general is a bummer, and it's both more depressing when it's something I do ship (Jack/Liz), and when it's something I don't (Liz/Wesley as endgame for the show, we know this makes me sad). (Though this bums me out less than Liz ending up with Wesley.) But I do think, in my wishful thinking head, they do end up falling in love.
