I'm sort of torn on the upcoming spoilers. Are they becoming romantically involved or just becoming closer friends? The only reason I'd want it to be the former is because Jack is supposedly jealous of Danny--but that probably means it's the latter.

Anyway, right now I think Danny is nice enough, but still not very interesting. It's fun to read something different, though.

Heh, when I read in the synopsis "Liz and Danny's relationship blooms, leading to a jealous Jack," the shipper in me was SO EXCITED. (They're teasing me, just like God teased Moses!) But, yeah, Jack being romantically jealous of someone Liz is dating is not going to be canon, so it probably is a 'they become closer friends' thing. (Though there is a chance that Liz and Danny could become romantically interested in each other, leading to her hanging out with him at work, and making Jack feel like his and Liz's friendship is being slighted.)

I have been trying to write Jenna/Danny and not really succeeding because I can't really get a handle on Danny. I like him, but he's not distinctive in the way the other characters are. But the spoilers + my natural desire to write rambling!Liz = here comes fic!

Which would kind of be the worst of both worlds for me; the only reason I'd have any interest in them getting together is if I thought it would make Jack romantically jealous. Which it won't. Rambling Liz is always fun, though.

I'm sort of on the fence about it. I do want to see Liz date someone seriously more than I'd like to see Jack fall in love again, but I suppose Danny won't be anything serious, if it goes that way. (Do you know how many episodes Cheyenne Jackson has to go? Because I feel like it's only one or two, but maybe I heard/am remembering wrong.) And I don't mind Jack being platonic-type jealous, since I can still read stuff into it, even if I'm not supposed it.

Someone told me Cheyenne Jackson was doing four episodes (after I specifically said I didn't want to know, aaarggh.) But if that's true, this would be the last one, so I don't know.
