Can you believe - 21 days and baby boy will be here?
TWENTY ONE
Things have been fairly quiet around here. I would love to reflect on amazing nesting ideas or happenings but not so much. This pregnancy has been both incredibly long and short all at once.
However - some really cool things I can report are:
- We chose a theme for baby's room. It is "Where the Wild Things are". The muralist starts tomorrow. SO excited. I think this has been the *thing* that has connected Violet to her brother. Violet has been a bit disconnected about having another sibling; blame the aspie in her... but now this is one of her favorite books she is super excited. "Mom..can I show my friends his room?" *giggle*
- We moved back upstairs in our house and emptied most of the collection of crap - Randy put in BEAYOOOTFIL laminate flooring up there and it just looks AWESOME.
- I have collected/bartered about 4000 ounces of donor milk for the baby. I am expecting chronic low/micro supply again. Baby currently has milk in TWO countries. Here and in Canada with my mother in law. He has two dedicated deep freezes just for him.
- I had slowly started to collect stuff to sell on ebay/livejournal again but made the decision to donate/consign it all. I took a major hit but the amount of space it was taking up and the amount of procrastinating I was doing, especially with a baby arriving so soon -it was worth it. THANK MISS KATE FOR HELPIN.
- I am a scheduled c-section for baby and I have huge issues with this emotionally. However, it is what is safest for me and baby. The possibility of me having another swelling reaction during birth is pretty high and I don't want to risk it. For a recap; I went into labor at home with Ophelia, was in labor for an extended period of time, Ophelia got stuck when my cervix swelled shut, and was taken by c-section. Ophelia has _mild_ cerebral palsy which is most likely unrelated to her birth but still messes with me.
I guess that is it
