Zomg. Violet starts first grade.. a weekend of celebrations.
Well.. we must be doing ok.. Violet starts first grade tomorrow :) WOO WOO.
This itself has been challenging because we pulled her out of private school and are sending her to a public school. We did it in such way that was quite savy. She finished her private school on May 22 and then went to public school for 3 weeks starting May 23 -it was seemless and wonderful for her - so we decided to give it a go.
We have had a few family celebrations of "Wow you are a big girl Violet.. and this is your We are proud of you weekend!"
She went for a pedicure.. first ever.. first thing she said was "Mom .. will my feet turn blue?" (from the water soak) and her saying what a big girl she felt like, etc
We went out for ice cream on Thursday to coldstone...
She went to the movies with just her Daddy to see "Paranorman"
We went for dinner tonight
We went and played Glow Golf -Bahahahahah! Teaching 2 little kids to use a putter is HILARIOUS.. omg. I hated it - they loved it.
It was a cool weekend. Randy is working from home so he can drive her to first grade tomorrow.. awesome.
