No power Dude
I just had to spend about 600 bucks that I didn't exactly have to buy a 4000 Watt Generator, special cable for it, and the 5 gallon gas can.. it will be here tomorrow via amazon. UPS is gonna LURVE ME. Amazon is nuts - cost me 3.99 - yes 3dollars and 99 cents to OVERNIGHT a 200 lb generator. Being I have no truck and not big muscles amazon not only saved money (no tax,cheaper price overall) but made it easier
We have no power - estimated return of power is Sunday. I have two deep freezers full of food, a tank of fish who are microwaving, two pugs who sound as tho they are in respiratory distress, and my poor husband had to shave by the light of his i-phone this morning when he left for work at 3 am. (He had a mini road trip this morning for his job)
I did not sleep last night. I have other issues with my health that are making me mind the heat incredibly.. ugh. Like seriously.. I slept for a bit on the front porch last night.. then to the basement.. then to our bed... then back to the couch...
I am grateful that my Mom lives very close so we will be bunking there for a few days and grateful we have air conditioning to begin with. It is just frustrating.
This morning, I got up at 7 , Violet came downstairs upset about the power and I had just had it. I told her to get
dressed, have her sister get dressed and we would go to McDonalds for breakfast (AND WIFI!). Then we went to my Moms... now we are at a local play center for internets and running about. Did I mention it is like 98 degree's out?
I will say KUDO's to my husband. He said to me "thanks for taking care of this like you always do.. you rock!" omg I could have cried...
