Vi had a great first day
Violet had a great first day at school. Their were a few minor issues and a phone call has been made to the principal (mishap of teacher switcheroo last minute - I dont think this is in Violets best interest due to the spectrum issues.
The hardest thing for Violet was the lineup and having to carry her bag(s) of supplies in. Having Violet lineup, with a back-pack, and a reusable grocery sack, stand in line, walk, filter out noise and listen to one set of directions - very difficult. That is what made me cry was the look on her face of confusion and fear. She was very happy and excited for everything else.

Mom - when you hear the little bell - no matter what - even if you are getting a tissue - we have to stop and say our prayers.

It is my husbands birthday -
I managed to pull off a dr dre beats head phones set for him in less than 90 minutes (via Craigslist) because Ophelia cried when I told her we did not have a present for Daddy. It was awesome - I asked him if these were the ones he saw in Chicago at the apple store that he wanted and he said "uhm....no I didnt have the balls to ask for these ones"
