Comment on Nadine week 7
I liked what you said about Mina Loy and the fact that today some women still feel inferior to men and I know that is the case with some professions but it shouldn’t be. Unfortunately there are still some men out there that have the opinion that women are insignificant and not as strong, intelligent nor deserving of a life outside the family home. I do agree that we are not just baby making machines, we also have hopes and dreams for the future and that’s why I fought so hard and did everything that I could to gain entrance into university, because I want to live my life and have a life outside the kitchen!
I think that is why in my post I would have been one of those women to protest for the rights of women. I think that although time has changed there are still many more things that we need to fight for and is a battle in itself. I want to thank you for your insight into those women that came into your work because it just shows that there is still prejudice in our society especially in the business world. Although we know that as women we can beat those men! That have those opinions and prove them wrong!
