College-Week 2: Rain, Theatres, and other things...
Hey friends-
Week 2 of classes and colleges of sorts. This past weekend was pretty good. Friday I dined w/the FABULOUS Ian and his grand family compromising of his sister, her husband, and their BOUNCING baby of joy. Listen. This baby is cute. Soo cute. But as joyful as it made me, it made me slightly sad and missing my friends/select family members. Other than that, nothing else really note-worthy of that night. Saturday I studied and did homework like NO ONE'S business...mostly b/c I'm scared to fail but also b/c I felt pretty damn good about it afterwards. Saturday night I was going to go play cards w/some kids but then it rained and we all got too lazy to walk outside, so I watched some SVU...and that shit was good. Sunday-did the rest of my homework/watched "Ten Things I Hate About You"...good shit. Did some basic things for life...organized, cleaned etc!
Monday=today...rained alot...which is cool by me cause I LOVE rain and I got to bust out my umbrella. Classes weren't that bad, and then I had THEATRE meetings to attend..oh boy. First meeting was for the mainstage productions, which look pretty good but slightly intimidating. I will most likely audition for them all, but I dunno how many/if I would make any of them. After that I ran off to the Studio Theatre meeting which is all student run and made me feel like such a freshman/newcomer. It was like being at NWT for the 1st time or forensics for the 1st time....everyone was soo friendly and nice and loud and outgoing..and...overwhelming for someone new, but at the same time I felt right at home. Yay.
So, week 2=MUCH better start then week 1...I feel good. PLUS I might be coming home for labor day...and that would be the cherry on the sundae of this week.
I ALSO HAVE A STALKER....YEAH.
