It was Marks 25th yesterday
After work he picked me up and we went to dinner at this place called Chillipadi (http://www.chillipadi.com.au/melbourne/restaurants.html). They do modern Asian Cuisine. It was really nice. We had: roti filled with beef, chicken satay sticks, chilli calamari, mixed vegies and more roti. God I love that stuff; roti is absolutely divine. I also had an avocado smoothie and mark a glass of house white. I decided then that when Ellen comes over that’s where we’ll have dinner.
Before we started dinner Mark asked for his present. I was pretending I didn’t get him one as to surprise him when we got there. Unfortunately he already knew what I got and confessed. I was shocked to found out how he knew. Apparently his best man, whom I had coffee with earlier that day, spoilt the surprise. It wasn’t easy spending months keeping it a secret either. It doesn’t bother me all that much but I would have loved to have seen his initial reaction. I still can’t believe Martin told him after I specifically told him Mark doesn’t know and not to say a word, only hours before he spilt the beans. Sighs
Oh wells Mark loved the present and so did I! The LION KING on stage is an amazing show. The Opening and closing scenes are awesome. I regret not purchasing the CD, the music in it was so emotional. Also the costumes and scene changes are brilliant. I really would have loved to show you Ellen. If it goes to the UK promise to see it. It’s a bit pricey but worth it
Anyway it was an awesome night. =)
Tonight I’ll get ready for my party. Im going to bake like there’s no tomorrow. Well not really. Im going to make one Chocolate mud cake and maybe 3 sponge cakes. I’ll also make a jelly cock filled with fruits and marshmallows.
It’ll be a wicked party. I cant wait
