this woman has fascinated many for decades with her iconic style that has been inspirational to designers. Her natural beauty inside and out and the mystery of her personality behind the makeup, the facade and the eccentric behaviour has still puzzled me. Sometimes I read about her on wikipedia to find out about her last days, watched the film 'Factory Girl' and found it unbearable;to quote someone it was 'Factory Girl for Dummies'. Most of the videos I've seen of people who claim to know her back in the mid 60's say the same thing except for George Plimpton, someone who knew her when she was growing up though he lost touch with her when she became Warhol's 'Superstar'. Her demise in 1971 couldn't be mostly a result of her 'relationship' with Andy and drugs, she had many issues before they even met. The mental issues she had left unresolved starting from an alleged predatory father, two deceased brothers and years of being put into a mental institution for eating disorders must have molded her personality and how she approached life. I could go on about my perceptions of this woman but I'll stop and post some pictures.
