I've spent time in the Octagon with the Occupy Dunedin people every day since it started. Sometimes it's only five minutes, sometimes it's a couple of hours, but I've been there. I've also taken them hot food, apples, drawing pins, waterproofing spray and a couple of other things they've needed, as well as being a voice raised against a Keeper of the Strawmen.
I was hugged by a co-leader of the Green Party.
I've started making fingerless mitts to sell at a local craft fair next month, and sold a couple of pairs to the Occupiers.
I completely failed to pick up the Weasel's school kilt from the drycleaners, so am going in at oh my god o'clock on Tuesday morning (Monday is a public holiday) to get it and take it to the DH's office so she can put it on.
I let a friend know there was a possibility she was being gaslighted by her partner, gave her some tips on what to watch out for, and told her to come round to ours any time she needed some time out.
Watched three rugby matches on the TV, and there's one more to go -- the Rugby World Cup final.
Had a lot of fun hanging out with the Weasel. Yay school holidays!
Interesting times, man.
