Title: Ladders and Pots of Gold: Survey of Atleantean Myth in Ancient and Modern Folklore

Description: This class focuses on the occurences of Atlantean myth in oral folk traditions, as well as from superstitions of ancient cultures to modern metaphor. Ancient narratives regarding the nature of the Atlantean motif will be discussed and disected, in addition to more modern instances of the motif.
Title: Transitions: On the Nature of Death and the Soul.
Prerequisites: None.
Description: Over the course of the semester we will cover the basic schools of thought regarding the transition from living to dead. This course is meant to provide opportunity for discussion as well as give an introduction to the basic cosmology of the dead, it's denizens, and the principles of those aforementioned subjects. As such more experienced students will find this to be mostly a review.
Title: Ethical Minds: An Introduction to Ethical Debates on Uses of Mind Magic Prerequisites: Apprentice level proficiency of the Mind Arcanum; Ethics (may be taken concurrently with Ethics)

Description: A more in-depth analysis of the pitfalls that proficiency of the Mind Arcanum provides. In this class, we will examine the moral issues and the ethical principles, and the theories underlying them as they apply specifically to the Mind Arcanum.
Title: Etiquette in the Awakened World: Navigating the Waters of Awakened Politesse in the 21st Century

Description: An introduction for newly Awakened mages and those who need a refresher on how to navigate the sometimes turbulent waters of Awakened Etiquette. Focus will be on the Five Moons Theosophical Society, with comparisons to other Consilii and their individual idiosyncracies of etiquette. Historical perspectives and changes will be analyzed to help better understand the political and social dichotomies of Consilii and society in general.
The Isle that (Never?) Was: A Lecture on Atlantis and the Fall
Prerequisites: None
Synopsis: Real or not, Atlantis has a great deal to teach us, if only
by way of parable. This course will however, go into possible details
of where it was, and have a section on archeomancy.
Road of the Ever-Weary Traveler: How to Defend Yourself from Magical
Ambush.
Prerequisites: Adept of any Arcanum
Synopsis: This class will meet once for a brief overview of tactics
and defensive applications of various arcana, and then proceed into
practical application, on a solo- or group- encounter basis. As a
warning, there is some danger inherent in the class, and so it is not
for those wishing to stay away from those things.
