Hmmm, well I thought I should check in here. I've been spending WAY too much time on Facebook and neglecting all the other social networks. Plus, i've just been plain busy.
I've been busy at work. Standard BS. But, at least I have a job with benefits. :)
Hubby had a couple weeks in a row of 40 hours but has been back down to a couple days a week for the past couple. Argh! His car doesn't leak oil anymore and THAT only cost $745. We still haven't got the brakes fixed. We just don't have another $900 laying around.
Next week is new student orientation for my son's junior high. HOLY CRAP!! I can't believe he is going to be in junior high. Hell, I can't believe my stepdaughter is going to be a freaking senior. Where does all the time go?
Had a lovely camping trip last weekend at our favorite spot Ohanapecosh. It was surprisingly packed. I figure it is because it was free camping in national parks and so we ended up with the overflow.
This weekend we are going to another family reunion. This one is in Leavenworth. We were supposed to camp at the spot, but just can't afford to. So, we are just going for the day and my mom is riding with us to share gas expenses.
Speaking of me ma....her mortgage company is FINALLY working with her on her house payments. They've suspended the foreclosure, waived late fees and lowered her payments for a 3 month trial period, if she keeps up they will rework the entire loan. YAY! I'm so happy about this.
Only news about school is I don't qualify for federal financial aid...make too much. So it is time to search other avenues.
