painting in progress
Being that i'm used to drawing in pencils [plus digitally],
i'm just now practicing to use the wet media to paint faces- [in this case, with acrylics].. I'm getting closer in figuring out the process that's better for me, and so far I find that I prefer to first do an underpainting, then follow up with smearing paint on top with my fingers, and brushes too.. haha.. [i'm going towards a more painterly, rough, abstracted look].. The only thing is that I find it not so easy to get an accurate likeness of the subject,..
So the next time around, i'll first do a grisaille drawing in watercolor pencils, then after i'm satisfied that it looks close enough to the subject, then i'll start with the painting.

*There comes the time when I need to dejunk and organize again..
[maybe then my mind would be less cluttered as well]
